I was hired as the lead product designer to create an MVP of a platform tool that ultimately be Mojito's SaaS offering.
The challenge was to take the fragmented and complicated methods of creating, selling, and maintaining NFT collections and streamlining them into an intuitive and familiar tool that any Enterprise-Brand can pick up and use.
Mojito's bet on Mint is that it's the all-in-one solution for Enterprises and Large Brands. Any business or creator can sign up for Mint, easily create an NFT collection, set the collection up for sale, direct it to an URL, and violà – your website now has an NFT marketplace! You'd also be able to set up presales, and allowlists based on wallet addresses or auth0 IDs...set taxes, MOR, and all the other intricate details and variables that each business would require.
We approached each functionality with a discovery stage. After analyzing the discovery stage insights, we begin conceptualizing a solution by whiteboarding user flows, wireframing screens, and mapping the product's architecture. At the same time, we built out a dedicated Mint Design System which allowed us to rapidly ideate down the line.
The current Mint release is an expansive app loaded with a number of features, states, and uses. It was imperative to build a solid foundation early on that the product could scale on.
Our first iteration of the platform was to build an interface that felt familiar. The assumption was that web3 technology and descriptors were off-putting and confusing. If we built easy-to-understand flows and actions, the user would find familiarity like interacting with an inventory management tool.

The current beta version has limited functionality, mainly focused on the management of marketplace sales and auctions, and is used internally for Mojito to support their Enterprise customers.
Although it has been mainly used as an internal tool, it has allowed us to smoothly create, manage, and maintain NFT drops for customers like Sotheby's, Pace, Lyrical L3monade, and the Milwaukee Bucks. In the past year, Mojito has helped our customers generate over $100 million in sales.
